Making Sustainability Count

We seek to generate climate-resilience throughout the full life cycle of farms, mitigate environmental strains, and create long-term value through our investments. AMERRA takes a practical approach to sustainability, promoting incremental progress towards sustainability objectives, while balancing business considerations.

Our underwriting requires setting specific sustainability metrics. Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) will be conducted by VIVE, Czarnikow’s MRV platform. Relevant metrics may include soil health, net carbon emissions, water consumption and other environmental impacts.

AMERRA is committed to sustainable Food & Agribusiness in Latin America and is officially the first U.S. based asset manager named as a signatory to the Innovative Finance for the Amazon, Cerrado, and Chaco (IFACC), which mandates deforestation free operations after December 31, 2020.
