Special Situations

Identifies undervalued, overlooked or misunderstood investments where, through active participation, AMERRA seeks “equity-like” returns with “debt-like” risk protection.

Private Equity

Invested in a portfolio of privately-held companies domiciled in the Americas and Western Europe where strategic investments were made for growth, acquisitions and value enhancing projects.

Natural Capital

AMERRA is refining its investment focus to further emphasize Natural Capital, advancing its long-standing commitment to sustainability and responsible resource management. Building on over a decade of experience in Food & Agribusiness investing, AMERRA seeks to support projects that enhance ecosystem resilience, biodiversity, and carbon integrity while generating competitive financial returns. Sustainability Assessments by Specialist Czarnikow / VIVE leaf icon

The VIVE Sustainable
Supply Program

VIVE is a sustainability program for agricultural supply chains, focused on continuous improvement, commercial alignment and credible verification. It works directly with producers, traders and buyers to benchmark performance across key sustainability pillars, from farm-level practices to logistics and corporate governance. It was developed in 2015 by CZ (Czarnikow), a global supply chain services company with over 160 years of experience in agri-commodity markets, and Intellync, who provide the independent sustainability assessment.

AMERRA will use VIVE as a third-party verifier for its Natural Capital onboarding strategy by implementing assessments on overall sustainability performance, carbon emissions, and development of regenerative agriculture practices. These assessments will generate outcomes that guide continuous and measurable improvements in sustainability performance, with progress reviewed annually across a three year cycle.

Portfolio companies onboarded onto VIVE will be required to meet specific thresholds in order to receive financing. If the initial requirements are not met, there will be a set remediation period to implement a continuous improvement plan, while remaining enrolled on the program.
